Inc.
Originally formed 1981 in Houston Texas to provide marine
navigation and survey equipment primarily to the offshore oil and gas
exploration industry, the company was until August 1996 a member of the Oceonics Group of companies. In August 1996 however,
Survey Equipment Services Inc., left the Oceonics
Group of Companies when it was successfully floated on the London
Stock Exchange.
In 1998
the company was purchased by Paul Hewson
& Roderick Barron. Paul Hewson
has been involved with the company since its formation in 1981 and Survey Equipment
Services is now a privately owned Texas Corporation.
We
are now enjoying our 27th year of business - a business based on giving the
customer true 24 HOUR SERVICE and dependable working equipment. We

We
specialize in the supply of marine navigation, hydrographic survey and GPS
equipment for hire, sale or lease purchase. Our wide range of Equipment Available is maintained
and serviced in-house by a fully experienced and qualified technical
staff. Equipment offered for lease is generally less than 18
months old as equipment reaching this age is then offered for sale with
warranty and at prices substantially lower than new costs. Equipment
may be hired for whatever period required with no minimum term. Should you
require equipment operators and/or training, this service is also readily
available.
You

Available on this site but this listing should be taken as a guide only
as new equipment is added on a very regular basis. If we do not have
listed the equipment you need then please complete the Contact Us form or simply call or
fax us. Depending on the period you wish to hire for, we may purchase the
equipment for your specific project.
W hen your projects
and/or operations require additional manpower or technical support, either in-the-field or in-house, we
also provide Engineering and Technical Support
Services and can mobilize qualified individuals or teams at very short
lead times and provide the staff and technology you and your client
deserve.
As
a commitment to our customers we also offer repair and maintenance services
for our clients own equipment. We maintain up to date sophisticated
electronic engineering workshops complete with all required test,
calibration and maintenance tools. Our engineering staff is committed
to getting your equipment repaired and back in the field in the
shortest possible time. Our engineering QC procedures ensure quality
workmanship at all times.
We provide an extensive range of equipment from a wide range
of manufacturers. Due to long standing purchasing agreements, we can
often provide quicker delivery than the original manufacturer due to
forward orders already in place. No premium is charged for short delivery
periods.
